Project Background
There are numerous enterprises such as chemical and food processing companies in the Can Tho Industrial Park. The industrial sewage generated has a complex composition, containing a large amount of organic matter, heavy metals, and acid – base pollutants. If directly discharged without proper treatment, it will cause long – term and serious harm to the surrounding soil, water sources, and ecological environment. The local government has put forward strict requirements for the sewage treatment in the industrial park, and there is an urgent need to build a professional industrial sewage treatment plant.
Pump Solution
Application of Pumps with Special Materials: In view of the strong corrosiveness of industrial sewage, the IHF series fluoroplastic alloy chemical centrifugal pumps produced by our company are selected. The pump body is made of fluoroplastic alloy material, which has excellent corrosion – resistant performance and can withstand the erosion of various strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents. The impeller is designed with a special hydraulic structure to ensure the efficient and stable transportation of sewage, and the maximum lift can reach 50m.
Multi – stage Lifting System: In the pretreatment stage of the sewage treatment plant, a three – stage sewage lifting system is set up. A total of 12 IHF series fluoroplastic alloy chemical centrifugal pumps are deployed to gradually lift the sewage from the collection tank to different treatment process units. In the sludge treatment process, the G series single – screw pumps produced by our company are used for sludge transportation. This pump has the characteristics of stable transportation, no pulsation, and strong self – priming ability. It can effectively handle high – concentration and high – viscosity sludge, with a maximum transportation concentration of 8%.
Treatment Effect
After the project was completed, the industrial sewage treatment capacity reached 15,000 tons per day. The effluent quality met the Vietnamese industrial wastewater discharge standard (TCVN 7943 – 2008). The removal rate of heavy metal ions was over 95%, and the removal rate of organic matter was over 90%. The IHF series fluoroplastic alloy chemical centrifugal pumps have continuously and stably operated for more than 20,000 hours in a strongly corrosive environment without obvious corrosion and leakage. The G series single – screw pumps ensure the efficient transportation of sludge, laying a good foundation for the subsequent treatment of sludge, and effectively protecting the ecological environment around the industrial park.
